The Stellar Fluorescence Camera Head SC20E captures white-light and near-infrared fluorescence images as part of the Stellar Imaging System. It provides two-dimensional imaging during minimally invasive procedures, helping surgeons view anatomy and the fluorescence signal from an appropriately administered ICG agent.
The camera head uses a 4K CMOS sensor and connects with the system’s image processing equipment. The separate light source excites the dye in the surgical field, and the camera captures the emitted fluorescence alongside normal visible-light images.
Imaging and Reprocessing
Fluorescence use depends on the approved ICG labeling and administration route. Intravenous use supports vessel, perfusion and extrahepatic bile duct visualization; interstitial use supports lymphatic imaging. The reusable head is supplied nonsterile and supports low-temperature plasma sterilization.
