Disposable Biopsy Valve covers the biopsy or suction channel opening of compatible gastrointestinal endoscopes. It permits instrument passage and exchange while limiting leakage of biomaterial, maintaining insufflation and providing irrigation access.
A cylindrical valve body connects to the working-channel inlet and carries a cap with a preformed opening. Inside, a flexible elastomer diaphragm deforms around an inserted instrument to form a seal.
