The Fluocase 800 is the control system used with a Fluobeam camera in fluorescence imaging of blood flow and tissue perfusion during surgery. It receives the camera’s fluorescent image signal and prepares it for computer display or recording.
The control system digitizes the video signal and sends it to the connected computer. Image adjustments can be made through the computer interface or camera controls, allowing the surgeon to view the fluorescent image during a procedure.
Associated Imaging Method
The separate camera uses infrared laser light to excite intravenously administered indocyanine green and captures the resulting fluorescence. The complete imaging system provides adjunctive visual assessment of vessels, tissue perfusion and tissue transfer circulation during the specified reconstructive and transplant procedures.
