The Nexus Hemorrhoid Ligator is a handheld instrument for rubber-band ligation of haemorrhoids. Trained medical personnel use it in hospitals, clinics or doctors’ offices to place a band around the tissue base and interrupt its blood supply.
Applied suction holds the haemorrhoidal tissue while the device slips a ligation band around it. The instrument combines suction and band placement and is supplied with preloaded non-latex rubber bands.

Use Restrictions
The ligator is disposable and intended for a single use. Its contraindications include Grade IV haemorrhoids, anal polyps, perineal infection or Crohn’s disease, and portal hypertension.
