The Tamper Evident Cap for ENFit Syringes closes an enteral syringe to prevent fluid loss and contamination until its contents are ready for use. It provides visible evidence of access to the syringe closure.
A restrictive outer sleeve covers the ENFit lock cap. Removing that sleeve allows the cap to be removed; a damaged or missing sleeve indicates possible access. The cap uses a male ENFit connection for a compatible enteral syringe.

Materials and Supply
The injection-molded assembly has a polystyrene outer sleeve and bottom cover with an acrylic syringe tip cap. It is intended for single use and is offered in sterile and nonsterile versions; sterile versions use ethylene oxide sterilization.
