Zephyr is a patient positioning and transfer system used to support a patient and positioning equipment during imaging, radiation therapy and transfers. Its X-series configuration uses forced air to move the supported patient between flat surfaces.
The air forms a low-friction bearing beneath the transfer assembly. A positioning baseboard works with a low-pressure air pad, combining support for the patient’s position with an assisted transfer surface.
