The ESOTEST MULTI Probe measures temperature inside the esophagus during procedures involving heating or cooling. The sterile, single-use probe has up to seven independent thermal sensors, each formed by a T-type thermocouple attached to a rounded steel electrode.
A patient cable connects the probe to the ESOTEST MULTI Monitor and converts sensor voltages into digital signals. The monitor displays temperatures as numbers, colored bars and scrolling plots.

ESOTEST MULTI Probe is an esophageal lead made of an external isolating cover in medical polyurethane with a diameter of 7 French (2.3mm) and a total length of 83 cm (usable length 75 cm) that is used for monitoring the internal temperature of the esophagus. The probe is equipped with 7 steel rounded electrodes. Each electrode contains a thermocouple for the independent detection of the esophageal temperature.
Monitoring Setup
The system is intended for operating rooms and interventional electrophysiology rooms. User-selected upper and lower thresholds trigger visual and audible alerts. With the optional adapter cable and a compatible mapping system, probe sensors can also be visualized within a 3D body model.
