The YJ600 infrared thermometer measures body temperature intermittently from the forehead in people of all ages. It is intended for healthcare providers or household use, with an adult operating the device for infants and children.
An infrared sensor, processing electronics and LCD are housed in the handheld unit. The sensor detects emitted infrared energy and the electronics convert the signal into a displayed temperature measurement.
Measurement Features
The specified measurement distance is 1 to 3 cm, with a two second measurement time. The thermometer stores 32 readings, provides a buzzer and automatic power off, and uses two AAA batteries.
