The Sure-Fine insulin syringe is used to inject U-100 insulin beneath the skin. This configuration has a 1 mL barrel with a permanently attached 29 gauge needle measuring 12.7 mm, or half an inch, in length.
The graduated barrel, piston and plunger operate as a manual syringe for drawing and delivering the insulin dose. The needle is fixed to the syringe tip, with a needle cap and protective end cap covering the assembly before use.
