Registry build 21.09.26

Insyte Autoguard BC Pro is an over-the-needle intravenous catheter for short-term peripheral vascular access. It supports blood sampling, blood-pressure monitoring and fluid administration. Selection for a patient depends on vascular anatomy, the procedure, infused fluids and intended therapy duration.

A blood-control feature stops flow from the catheter hub until the first Luer connection is made. After that connection, fluid or blood can flow in either direction. A flash chamber indicates entry into the vessel, while the radiopaque Vialon catheter remains available for vascular access.
