This single use infusion set delivers fluids by gravity from a container to a patient’s vascular system through an intravenous catheter or infusion needle. It is supplied sterile and provides the tubing and connecting components for that fluid pathway.
The family comprises ten configurations with different combinations of components. These can include a spike, drip chamber, flexible tubing, luer lock connector and clamps, together with an air filter, precision filter, injection site, check valve or flow regulator.
Configuration Differences
Components vary between models, so a filter, valve or flow regulator is configuration dependent. The set is intended for gravity infusion, with the catheter or infusion needle forming the connection to the patient.
