The Omnipod GO 15U/day is a wearable insulin delivery device for adults with type 2 diabetes. It provides continuous subcutaneous delivery at a preset basal rate of 15 units per 24 hours for up to three days. It does not provide bolus doses.
An adhesive pad holds the self-contained pump on the body. After the user fills the integrated reservoir with compatible rapid-acting U-100 insulin, a microprocessor drives a leadscrew mechanism that presses the reservoir plunger and moves insulin through a flexible subcutaneous cannula.
Supply and Status
The sterile, disposable Pod is intended for single use over its 72-hour life. Visual and audible indicators communicate device status, including activation, impending cannula insertion, expiration and device alarms.

Recalls
7 of these are Class I. Class I is the FDA’s most serious grade: a reasonable probability of serious injury or death. Class II means a temporary or reversible health consequence. Volume alone is not a quality signal: a manufacturer that ships more recalls more.
