GalaFLEX Scaffold is a resorbable surgical mesh used as a temporary scaffold for soft tissue support. It is placed to repair, elevate or reinforce tissue where weakness or a void requires additional supporting material.
Its applications include reinforcement of soft tissue in plastic and reconstructive surgery and general soft tissue reconstruction. The mesh is supplied as individual sheets in different widths, lengths and shapes, and can be cut to suit the surgical application.
Listed Item
GalaFLEX scaffold is a bioresorbable surgical mesh manufactured from poly-4-hydroxybutyrate (P4HB).
Mesh Construction
The sterile mesh is knitted from undyed monofilament fibers of poly-4-hydroxybutyrate, also called P4HB. This polymer forms the resorbable structure of the scaffold.

Recalls
1 of these is Class II. Class II means a temporary or reversible health consequence. Volume alone is not a quality signal: a manufacturer that ships more recalls more.
