WXD Surgical Face Mask is a non-sterile, single-use mask intended to limit transfer of microorganisms, body fluids and particulate material between patients and healthcare personnel. It is used in infection control practices to reduce potential exposure to blood and body fluids.
Three layers form the mask: spunbond polypropylene on the inside and outside, with a meltblown polypropylene filter between them. Two elastic earloops hold the mask over the nose and mouth, and a steel-wire nosepiece covered with polypropylene allows shaping around the nose.
Model Colors
WXDKZ0001 has a white outer layer and WXDKZ0006 has a blue outer layer. Both have the same three-layer construction. Their earloops are made without natural rubber latex.
