NEW DOUBLO 2.0 is a radiofrequency system used for tissue coagulation in dermatologic and general surgical procedures. Its RM and RM(B) handpieces provide electrocoagulation and hemostasis. The PS handpiece is intended for removal or destruction of skin lesions and coagulation of tissue.
The main unit amplifies high frequency energy and transmits it to the selected handpiece. Electrical resistance in tissue converts the energy into heat. Trained healthcare professionals control delivery in a clinical setting using the touchscreen, footswitch and hand switches.
Handpiece Configuration
RM and RM(B) operate with bipolar radiofrequency microneedle tips, while PS uses a monopolar radiofrequency plasma configuration. The microneedle tips are sterile single use components.
