The Single Use Electrosurgical Knife dissects and prepares tissue layers in the digestive tract during endoscopy. It delivers monopolar radiofrequency energy from a compatible electrosurgical unit through a retractable electrode for cutting and coagulation. The listed T type injection model also supports fluid delivery into the submucosa.
The operator passes the instrument through an endoscope channel at least 2.8 mm wide and extends the cutting electrode before activating the generator’s footswitch. A syringe or pump connects to the handle’s luer port to supply fluid through injection equipped models.
