The VFS1 generator supplies bipolar radiofrequency energy for cutting tissue and coagulating blood vessels during surgery. It is intended for surgeons experienced with electrosurgical equipment in hospitals and clinical settings, including micro, macro and endoscopic procedures.
The generator produces 1MHz energy through compatible bipolar instruments, with separate cutting and coagulation settings. A two-pedal footswitch activates the output, and audible tones indicate cutting or coagulation. The LCD shows power settings, irrigation settings, warnings and system errors.

Integrated Irrigation
A variable-rate peristaltic pump draws saline from a bag through compatible tubing for surgical irrigation. The operator can select slow, medium or fast drip delivery. The generator provides up to 100W for cutting and 50W for coagulation.
