VIVA RF Electrode is a sterile, single-use accessory for the VIVA combo RF Generator. It delivers radiofrequency energy to tissue for percutaneous or intraoperative coagulation and ablation. It is intended to function with that generator.
The electrode has an adjustable exposed tip length. Radiofrequency energy produces local tissue heating at the tip. Chilled water travels through inflow tubing, through the electrode and out through outflow tubing to cool the electrode during use.
