The GL066 CO2 Laser System delivers 10.6-micrometer laser energy for tissue vaporization and coagulation. It is used in dermatology and plastic surgery, general surgery, gynecology, podiatry, dentistry and ear, nose and throat procedures.
Mirrors direct the laser beam through an articulated arm to the treatment handpiece, where a focusing mirror concentrates it at the treatment site. The system includes a main unit, handpiece and foot switch; touchscreen controls set its operating parameters.
Energy Delivery
The system provides single-pulse, repeated-pulse and continuous operating modes with output from 1 to 30 watts. A red 650-nanometer aiming light indicates the treatment position, and the foot switch activates laser delivery.
