DermRays Revive is a diode laser device intended for hair removal, permanent hair reduction and treatment of wrinkles. Its indication covers Fitzpatrick skin types I to VI, including tanned skin. The LHR-S5-1064 model delivers laser energy at a wavelength of 1064 nm.
The laser acts through the epidermis on target tissue, where melanin, haemoglobin and water absorb its energy. Photothermal action provides the operating mechanism, including absorption by melanin in hair follicles during hair treatment.
System and Treatment Scope
The device consists of a main unit, power adapter and power cord. Permanent hair reduction refers to stable reduction in regrowing hairs assessed at six, nine and twelve months after completing a treatment course.
