EPIC 10 is a diode laser system used for oral soft tissue procedures, laser-assisted tooth whitening and temporary relief of minor pain. It delivers infrared laser energy through a flexible fiber cable and handpiece to the treatment site. A visible aiming light identifies the target location.
The system comprises a base console, detachable delivery system, treatment tips and a wireless footswitch. The clinician activates laser delivery with the footswitch. Different single-use tips support applications such as cutting, removing or coagulating oral soft tissue and treating tissue within periodontal pockets.

Additional Applications
For tooth whitening, the laser activates compatible bleaching materials. Its pain therapy application uses topical heating for temporary relief of minor muscle or joint pain and stiffness, muscle spasm, minor sprains and strains, and minor muscular back pain.
