The GentleMax Pro Plus is a laser system for dermatological treatments, including unwanted hair, benign pigmented lesions and vascular lesions. It contains an Alexandrite laser producing 755 nm light and an Nd:YAG laser producing 1064 nm light.
The two laser paths are combined so that either wavelength can use the same delivery system. The selected laser sends controlled optical energy into skin tissue to produce therapeutic heating. A dynamic cooling device applies a burst of cryogen to cool the upper skin layers.
Wavelength-Specific Applications
At 755 nm, applications include hair reduction, benign pigmented lesions, wrinkles and vascular lesion photocoagulation. At 1064 nm, applications include hair removal, pseudofolliculitis barbae treatment and coagulation or hemostasis of pigmented and vascular lesions.

Recalls
5 of these are Class II. Class II means a temporary or reversible health consequence. Volume alone is not a quality signal: a manufacturer that ships more recalls more.
