The LED Spectrum Therapy Instrument delivers selected combinations of visible and infrared light for dermatological treatment or topical heating. A treatment head on a stand is controlled through a color touchscreen that selects the light application.
Blue light and red-plus-blue modes on PDT-I and PDT-K treat inflammatory acne. Red-plus-infrared modes on PDT-I and PDT-L treat periorbital wrinkles. The model determines which treatment functions are available.
Heating Models
PDT-J and PDT-M combine yellow and infrared light for topical heating, temporary relief of minor muscle or joint pain and stiffness, muscle relaxation and increased local circulation. The device family is intended for prescription use.
