PICO LEGEND is a laser system for tattoo removal using two wavelengths. The 1064 nanometre setting targets dark tattoo inks in Fitzpatrick skin types I to VI. The 532 nanometre setting targets lighter inks, including red and yellow, in skin types I to III.
A flashlamp energizes a solid Nd:YAG laser medium in the main unit. The generated light travels through an articulated arm to a handpiece. The operator selects parameters on the control panel and activates delivery using the footswitch when the system is ready.
Pulse Configuration
The specified pulse width is 300 picoseconds at both wavelengths. A separate aiming beam marks the treatment area, and the repetition rate can be set from 1 to 10 hertz.
