The Tanses T-72 is a lay-down tanning bed that uses ultraviolet radiation to produce a cosmetic tan. Its canopy directs light toward the front of the body, while the base section directs light toward the back. A side console contains controls and cooling fans.
The T-72 is equipped with 64 ultraviolet sunlamps and can include up to three facial bulbs in the canopy. Acrylic sheets in the base and canopy transmit UVA and UVB light while forming a barrier between the user and the lamps.

Electrical Operation
