The Genadyne DUO NPWT system applies negative pressure to a wound through compatible dressings and collects removed fluid in a canister. It also offers an instillation mode that delivers and removes topical wound treatment solutions. Its wound scope includes chronic, acute, traumatic and dehisced wounds, partial thickness burns, ulcers, flaps and grafts.
A touchscreen allows selection of continuous or variable pressure modes and pressure levels from 40 to 200 mmHg. During instillation, the system controls delivery, soaking and removal of solution at the wound bed. Target pressure, vacuum time, instilled volume and soaking time can be adjusted.
