Genadyne White PVA Foam is a polyvinyl alcohol dressing component used in negative pressure wound therapy. It is intended for use with the compatible Genadyne A4-XLR8 wound vacuum system and the associated dressing kit. The foam forms the wound dressing portion of that arrangement.
The complete dressing kit combines white foam with a transparent film and a connection port. These components allow the compatible vacuum system to deliver negative pressure at the wound. The dressing’s indicated wound scope includes ulcers, traumatic wounds, postoperative and dehisced wounds, and skin flaps or grafts.
Sterile Supply
The white foam is sterilized by gamma radiation and packaged separately before assembly into the kit. The dressing kit is supplied for prescription use with the specified Genadyne system.
