Infinity-Lock 3 is a nonabsorbable woven polyester tape for soft-tissue approximation, including repair of an acutely ruptured Achilles tendon. An integral loop at one end and two extending tails provide the elements used to draw separated tissue together.
The loop can form a cow-hitch attachment through one end of the ruptured tendon. The tails are then sutured through the other end to approximate the tear. Both tails taper into cords to assist passage through soft tissue.
Tape Features
One tail has a green stripe to help the surgeon distinguish it during placement. The polyester tape is supplied sterile for single use and remains as the implanted tissue-approximation material.
