LSSA NP-200 is an ultrasonic surgical unit that fragments and emulsifies fatty tissue beneath the skin for aesthetic body contouring. It is indicated for plastic and reconstructive surgery and orthopedic surgery when fragmentation and aspiration of adipose tissue are desired.
Electrical energy from the control unit drives piezoelectric ceramic crystals within the handpiece. Their expansion and contraction produce ultrasonic mechanical vibrations, which pass to an attached probe. The probe transfers this movement to the tissue to fragment and emulsify it.
