The ADVIA 2120i is an automated hematology analyzer for clinical laboratory testing. It provides complete blood counts, white blood cell differentials, reticulocyte analysis and nucleated red blood cell counts. Its applications also include cell counting in cerebrospinal fluid and selected pleural, peritoneal and peritoneal dialysis specimens.
An analytical module aspirates, dilutes and analyzes samples. An autosampler mixes and identifies specimen tubes before presenting them for processing. A computer workstation controls the instrument and manages results. With the AutoSlide option, the system prepares and stains blood smears according to user selected criteria.
