The Acclarent NavWire is a navigable guidewire that provides access to nasal and sinus spaces during endoscopic and image-guided sinus surgery. Its electromagnetic sensor allows the distal tip position to be tracked in the patient’s anatomy.

Used with the CARTO ENT System, the guidewire position is displayed relative to a preoperative CT model. This helps confirm placement within the accessed nasal or paranasal sinus space.

Acclarent Navwire Sinus Navigation Guidewire

Navigation Setup

The system relies on registration to identifiable rigid ENT anatomy and a compatible navigation setup with patient tracking and CT data. The long flexible wire supplies access and positional information as one component of that surgical guidance workflow.

5 of these are Class II. Class II means a temporary or reversible health consequence. Volume alone is not a quality signal: a manufacturer that ships more recalls more.
