The FlexPointer 1.5 is a reusable navigated pointer for locating anatomical structures during ENT surgery. It works with the Fiagon electromagnetic navigation system in open or percutaneous procedures where a rigid anatomical reference can be related to a CT- or MR-based model.
A tracking sensor in the malleable pointer’s tip is located within the navigation system’s low-energy magnetic field. The connected software displays the instrument position on the preoperative images, supporting localisation in areas such as the sinuses or mastoid anatomy.
