EmeTerm 2 is a wearable electrical stimulation device for nausea and vomiting caused by motion sickness or pregnancy. It is worn on the wrist like a watch and is intended for one patient. The noninvasive device is available for over the counter use.
Two electrodes in its wristband contact the inner wrist, approximately two to three centimetres from the wrist crease. Electrical pulses stimulate the median nerve at this location. The device uses a rechargeable battery and provides adjustable stimulation intensity.

User Controls
A touchscreen and home button operate the device. The user can select among five intensity levels, and the screen provides information about operation and battery status. A timer setting is also provided.
