The Additive Orthopaedics Hammertoe System includes an implant for fixation of fractures and fusion of small bones in the foot and hand. Its indicated use is limited to fragments that are not under tension or load bearing.
The implant is a single piece, noncircular shaft with barbs along its length. The family includes cannulated and noncannulated forms, manufactured additively from medical grade titanium alloy. Straight and 10 degree configurations provide alternative implant geometries.
