The CoLink Sfx system uses implantable K-wires for temporary fixation and stabilization of fractured bone in the extremities. The wires can also act as guide pins during placement of other implants.
The wires are made from stainless steel. Polyethylene caps cover protruding wire ends to protect the external tips; the protective caps are not implanted.

System Use
The wires and caps belong to the CoLink implant family and are supplied sterile. The selected wire size supports the planned fracture fixation or reconstruction, while the external cap remains a protective accessory to the fixation wire.
