Mpact Double Mobility Shells are acetabular components used in cementless total hip replacement. Each hemispherical shell receives a compatible mobile polyethylene liner as part of the hip’s double-mobility articulation.
The shell is made from high-nitrogen stainless steel with a porous titanium TiGrowth coating on its exterior. Sizes from 42 to 66 mm are available for use within the Medacta total hip system.

Liner Pairing
Compatible Versafitcup Double Mobility liners are made from conventional or HighCross highly crosslinked ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene. The selected liner must match the shell and femoral head. The smaller 22.2/DMA liner configuration pairs only with a 22.2 mm head and has a minimum liner thickness of 5 mm.
