The UNITED ceramic femoral head is a hip replacement component used in total hip arthroplasty. It is made from zirconia-toughened alumina ceramic and is designed to articulate against an XPE cup liner in a compatible hip reconstruction.
The head is used with compatible U2 acetabular cups and titanium U2 hip stems. Together with an XPE liner, these components form the hip reconstruction arrangement.
