The Platform Neutral Acetabular Insert with E-Link forms the bearing surface within a compatible acetabular shell during total hip replacement. It is part of the Klassic HD Hip System for prosthetic replacement without bone cement. Configurations are available for 28 mm, 32 mm and 36 mm femoral heads.
The insert is made from vitamin E-containing ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene. It is used with the Platform acetabular shell and a compatible femoral head to form the socket side of the artificial hip joint. The range includes neutral and hooded insert configurations.
