RootMend MRR Titanium Button is a fixation component for suture-to-bone attachment during meniscal root repair in the knee. It is used with the system’s adjustable UHMWPE loop to secure the repair.
The button is made from Ti-6Al-4V titanium alloy. The associated suture material is uncoated ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene with tracer filaments, forming the soft-tissue fixation portion of the construct.
Sterile Use
RootMend MRR devices are supplied ethylene-oxide sterilized for one use and must not be resterilized. The titanium-button option is distinct from the alternative all-suture soft button in the same range.

Recalls
1 of these is Class II. Class II means a temporary or reversible health consequence. Volume alone is not a quality signal: a manufacturer that ships more recalls more.
