The Spira-C Integrated anchor is a fixation option used with the system’s cervical interbody cage. Unlike the screw configuration, the anchor configuration requires additional supplemental fixation. It is intended for one cervical level rather than the two-level standalone use described for screws.
The assembled system is intended for skeletally mature patients after six weeks of nonoperative treatment. Indications include degenerative disc disease, cervical spondylotic myelopathy, trauma, stenosis, deformity, pseudoarthrosis and failed fusion. The anchor works within that interbody fusion construct.

Graft and Cage Connection
The cage has spiral supports surrounding a chamber for autograft or cancellous or corticocancellous allogeneic bone graft. It includes a built-in rotary locking mechanism. When anchors are selected, supplemental fixation such as a posterior cervical screw construct remains necessary; the anchor does not make the cage standalone.
