The COSMO Diode Laser Cap is a dome-shaped light-delivery device intended to promote hair growth in specified male and female androgenic alopecia patterns. A diode array exposes the scalp to visible red light at 650 nm.
An outer plastic cover surrounds a protective inner liner containing the electronics and laser array. An included battery pack powers the assembly, so the light-delivery system is carried within the head-worn cap.
