The LIN-LEAD guide provides a fixed path for a needle during an ultrasound-guided intervention. Its path aligns with the ultrasound scan plane so the needle can be seen in the image during the procedure.
The guide is reusable and is supplied cleaned but nonsterile. It is used for percutaneous ultrasound-guided diagnostic and treatment interventions, providing the needle-guidance interface alongside the imaging system.
