The Multi-Purpose Workstation Stabilizer provides a floor-supported base for a compatible ultrasound stepping unit. It supports and fixes a transrectal imaging probe during insertion and final positioning for prostate procedures in adult men with known or suspected prostate cancer.
Model 610-974 uses an adjustable floor stand. The stepping unit attaches to the stabilizer and holds the probe, providing the interface for manual linear and rotational probe positioning. The stabilizer maintains support for this assembly during the procedure.

The system supports ultrasound-guided prostate brachytherapy, cryotherapy, transperineal template-guided biopsy and fiducial marker placement. Separate stepping units and disposable template grids provide their respective probe-positioning and needle-guidance functions.
