Ventripoint Medical System Plus is an adjunct to ultrasound equipment for computerized three-dimensional processing of cardiac images. It records, analyzes, stores and retrieves digital ultrasound images when chamber volumes and ejection fractions are required.
The system uses Knowledge Based Reconstruction with heart-model catalogs for the left and right ventricles and left and right atria. These catalogs support chamber evaluation from the acquired ultrasound data.

The VMS+ system is an adjunct to existing ultrasound imaging systems and is intended to record, analyze, store and retrieve digital ultrasound images for computerized 3-dimensional image processing. The VMS+ system is indicated for use where Left Ventricle (LV), Right Ventricle (RV), Left Atrium (LA), and Right Atrium (RA) volumes and ejection fractions are warranted or desired.
Acquisition and Analysis
VMS+ combines proprietary software with a Windows-based analysis system, real-time video capture, an external ECG trigger and six-degree-of-freedom magnetic tracking. It supports freehand scanning in conjunction with the existing ultrasound system.
