The EdgeFlow UW20 measures urine volume in the bladder using a wearable ultrasound patch. Qualified, trained healthcare professionals use it in hospitals and clinics for adults aged 18 or older with a body mass index up to 30 kg/m². Measurements recur at intervals selected by the user.
The patch attaches to the lower abdomen with the designated silicone gel pad and fixation tape. Its transducer array acquires ultrasound images and sends data to the mobile application. A locked deep learning algorithm in the application outlines the bladder and estimates its volume from the images.
