The SonicEye Dual-Array Ultrasound System is a portable, battery-powered system for grayscale ultrasound imaging. Its fingertip transducer combines a high-frequency linear array and a low-frequency phased array, and can be worn on a finger or held between the thumb and forefinger.
The transducer connects by wire to an image processor that controls beamforming, image construction and power management. A USB cable sends acquired data to a tablet running the SonicEye Windows application, where the operator views images and adjusts available settings.
