16ch Flex Speeder Medium is an MRI receive coil for use with Canon 1.5-tesla magnetic resonance systems. It is intended to help produce diagnostic images of general human anatomy for interpretation by a trained physician.
The coil has a sixteen-channel phased-array design. It receives radiofrequency signals from the imaged anatomy as part of the scanner’s imaging process. Its electrical design includes active PIN-diode switching and passive blocking circuitry.
Enclosure
Polycarbonate provides impact protection, with a polyurethane-coated nylon fabric cover. The coil is designed for use as the Medium configuration in the compatible Canon system.
