The 16ch Tx/Rx Knee SPEEDER is a radiofrequency coil used with compatible Toshiba 1.5 T MRI systems. It transmits and receives signals to produce diagnostic images of the knee, wrist, hand and forefoot.
The coil switches between a 15-channel receive array and a single-channel birdcage receive configuration. Its split-top design and rigid polycarbonate housing enclose the coil elements around the imaged anatomy.
Patient Positioning
The reusable, noninvasive coil is supplied with comfort pads for positioning the knee and adjacent leg. It works as part of the MRI system, with the resulting images interpreted by a trained physician. This version is designed for 1.5 T rather than the 3 T predicate configuration.

Recalls
8 of these are Class II. Class II means a temporary or reversible health consequence. Volume alone is not a quality signal: a manufacturer that ships more recalls more.
