The 32-channel Head SPEEDER Coil receives MR signals for diagnostic imaging of the head with the Toshiba Vantage Titan 3T system. It is a phased-array, receive-only coil intended to provide images for interpretation by a trained physician.
Its 32 receive channels collect signal from the head as part of the connected scanner’s imaging process. The coil uses two anterior attachments, with its configuration designed for the 3T scanner rather than the lower-field system used by the earlier head-and-neck coil.
Scanner Connection
The coil is specifically intended for the Vantage Titan 3T system. It is an imaging accessory and depends on the scanner for MR acquisition and image production.

Recalls
8 of these are Class II. Class II means a temporary or reversible health consequence. Volume alone is not a quality signal: a manufacturer that ships more recalls more.
