Contour Shoulder is an MRI receiving coil for diagnostic images of the shoulder with compatible Siemens 0.55 tesla systems. A trained physician interprets the resulting images. The coil is a reusable, noninvasive accessory that receives radiofrequency signals during the examination.
Its twelve channel phased array combines central elements in a rigid housing with flexible wing elements. These elements provide the receiving arrangement around the shoulder. The rigid section uses plastic housing, while the flexible parts have protective encapsulation and a coated fabric cover.
Scanner Compatibility
The coil is designed for shoulder anatomy on Siemens 0.55 tesla MR systems. Its receive only function works in conjunction with the scanner’s imaging system.
